The lockdown-inspired single “Almost Always Wrong” — a song about relationships, close quarters and how communication is hard — is out now all major digital platforms.

The song is relatable to most anyone who is or has been in a relationship and dealt with getting on each other’s nerves with lines like, “Say whatever like you’ve won / But whatever never really means this talk is done” and “Don’t tell me where to go / Because I already know.” The song is a very real, and often lighthearted, spin. In the end, it’s about returning to center, even if you’re “Almost Always Wrong.”

“It started as a song about how I’m not always the best communicator, even though I work in communications. Add in a lockdown and a relatively new relationship, and you have quite the cocktail.”

Adam Hammer

Musically, the song sits at a crossroads of folk, alternative, and alt-country with a dash of rockabilly and surf guitar.
