Evansville Arts Coalition is pleased to announce that singer/songwriter Adam Hammer will be performing for EAC’s April First Friday Concert on April 5. This is the first of the monthly First Friday Concert Series for 2024.

This will be Hammer’s first solo show at the Evansville Art Center and his first time back in more than five years.

“The Evansville Art Center is always one of my favorite places to perform,” he said. “It’s such an intimate venue with a welcoming audience and membership.

It’s ripe for storytelling and a good mix of original music and familiar covers.”

His latest collection of soon-to-be-released songs focus on the nostalgia of growing up in small-town Minnesota and life through a simpler lens.

“I grew up in a town just down the road that isn’t all that different from Evansville. As I’ve started to share a couple demos from my latest batch of songs, I’m finding a lot of connections to these old stories that are familiar to many,” Hammer said.

There is no charge for this event, and donations will be gratefully accepted. Feel free to bring a treat to share at intermission, if you wish. Beverages will be provided, including non-alcoholic craft beers courtesy of Athletic Brewing Co., Hammer’s endorsed NA beer of choice.

Please join us for this kick off First Friday Concert of 2024. It’s going to be great! Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The Evansville Art Center is handicap accessible.

No shows booked at the moment.
